Dockers proves Chivalry is Alive And Well!

Chivalrous Heroes in Atlanta
Over the holidays Dockers brand set out to find out which of the five major cities– Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco, was the most Chivalrous.  As part of their campaign, Wear The Pants, Dockers staged a young woman or mature gentleman in a high traffic pedestrian area in a state of distress, where they clearly struggled with heavy and toppling file boxes and waited for someone to stop and help.

Chivalrous Hero in Atlanta
Men and women stopped to help in all cities, but Atlanta beat them all!  Well, of course we did ;-), after all, we do have that good ol' southern hospitality on our side.

Atlanta proved to be the most chivalrous with only up to 8 people passing the man or woman in distress before someone stopped. How did the other cities do?  Here are their results,
2nd -San Francisco, 17 people passing by before a chivalrous individual stopped to help,
3rd - Chicago, 20 passersby before help was offered,
4th - Los Angeles, 35 passersby before someone took a moment to help, and
5th - New York (Manhattan), up to 40 people passing by our man or woman before someone stopped.

Hero to the Rescue in Atlanta The chivalrous were thanked with a new pair of Dockers khakis and were celebrated with an arm badge that read, “Chivalry is Not Dead!”
