Fourth Annual Monumental Ball: Save the Date - October 21

This fall, the Morningside-Lenox Park Association will host its Fourth Annual Monumental Ball to raise awareness and funds to protect some of the area’s beloved landmarks.

Proceeds raised from Monumental Ball ticket sales will benefit both the Security Patrol and the restoration and repair of the historic Ivey and Crook monuments that enhance the beauty of the Morningside-Lenox Park area.  Ivey and Crook, a historic architectural firm, enjoyed much acclaim during its reign as one of the area’s leading firms from 1923 to 1967 and created the classical brick pillars, topped with ornate urns, to mark major streets in Atlanta’s premier in-town community.

The Fourth Annual Monumental Ball is Friday, October 21, from 7:00-11:00pm, at the beautiful Magnolia Hall in Piedmont Park. 

At this year’s ball, guests will enjoy food and entertainment of monumental proportions.  The Ball will feature a buffet prepared by Affairs to Remember.  Guests will enjoy the sounds of the popular Elvis-themed band KINGSIZED. The dress is festive attire, and costumes are encouraged.  With everything from swing and soul to rock ‘n roll, the band’s musical stylings provide unparalleled fun, echoing the glamour of old Hollywood, vintage Vegas and everything in between.

Tickets are $50 until October 1 and $60 thereafter – and are available for credit card purchase at www.monumentalball.org. Tickets are also available for purchase in person, by cash or check, at the following locations:
